Ally Karasik
Educational Therapist

Ally Karasik was raised in Oakland, CA and moved to Wilmington, NC about two years ago. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies and Spanish at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Upon graduating, Ally moved back home to Oakland for five years and was a Spanish, SAT prep, history, math, and English tutor. While tutoring, she discovered Educational Therapy and pursued her Master’s in Educational Therapy at Holy Names University in Oakland. Ally has a passion for incorporating social emotional learning into her teaching. She feels that Educational Therapy requires a holistic approach in which the student has an opportunity to grow in all areas. Ally has experience working with elementary, middle, high school, and college level students and specializes in executive functioning and reading and math remediation.
